      Since the founding of this law, the School Lunch System has been a compulsory part of the Japanese education system.<\/p>\n

      History of Nigaki Co., Ltd<\/h2>\n

      Founder Chiyo Nigaki introduced Curry Roux for mass servings (100 people per 1 brick) to a leading nutritionist for Kobe City Government Kyoko Mita. Since then Kobe city and neighboring cities in Hyogo Prefecture have worked in\u00a0coordination with Nigaki Co., Ltd to supply food materials.\u00a0This was the beginning of the supply and distribution system for mass meals. Nigaki Co., Ltd. gradually grew to also supply hospitals, factories, companies, public offices and facilities.<\/p>\n

      Since this time in 1953, Japanese economy has grown a lot. With the general growth in the economy our particular field of mass meal service and food supplying, including hotel and restaurant business, also grew rapidly. As this\u00a0industry developed, various public and private organizations were formed to aid in the networking in the food business.<\/p>\n
